Ian West
Board member
Ian has been a governor in Stafford, Swinfen Hall, Gartree and Leicester prisons, and a deputy governor in various other prisons. He has 35 years of operational experience within the prison service. Before this, Ian served in the Royal Navy.
Prior to retirement, in Stafford prison, Ian set up a palliative care unit to provide hospice standards of decency and dignity to end of life people in prison for sexual offences.
