Thalia Maragh

Thalia is a barrister/attorney at law based at Garden Court Chambers. Thalia was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2009, as well as the Jamaican Bar in 1999.

Thalia’s practice areas have included Human Rights, Inquests, Public Inquiries, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and International Law.

Thalia has served advisory roles for organisations such as JUSTICE and INQUEST on projects such as Achieving Racial Justice and the “Dame Elish Angiolini Review of Deaths in Police Custody”.

Thalia was named a recipient of a Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Award in 2016 for representation of families affected by the Hillsborough disaster.
